THIS IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT TRIP

Trip:  B&B #1 Fluorite Claim, North of Aguila, AZ

Meet up spot:
Parking lot of Goodwill Store
2031 W Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390
SW corner of W Wickenburg Way and N Vulture Mine Road
8:30 am

Tools:
Pick, Shovel, Rock Hammer, Chisel, Screwdriver, Gloves, and a bucket or box to carry your finds.

We will be collecting fluorite at a claim in the mountains north of Aguila. We will be digging a fluorite vein for crystals and lapidary material(tumbles). The fluorite is seafoam green, light blue, and sometimes purple. The mine is about 1/4 mile hike over rugged terrain. A high clearance vehicle is required and we will be driving through sand part of the way. Make sure you have lunch, water, plenty of fuel and a good spare. This is a remote area please be prepared. If there is time and the desire at the end of the day, I can take people to a quartz crystal locality on the route. This requires a bit of rugged hiking as well.
