MSA Monthly ProgramsMSA hosts several special Program Speaker events where new members and visitors are certain to meet new friends among our passionate membership. At each event refreshments are served, and attendees have an exciting opportunity to win in the 'Grand Prize Raffle', with one raffle for adults, one for visitors, and one for juniors. Members who wear their 'MSA Name Badges' to general meetings have a golden opportunity to participate in a special MSA Name Badge Raffle. Check out the Monthly Program ScheduleTucson Gem and Mineral ShowIn February each year MSA participates in the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. MSA has especially designed 'Exhibits' throughout the show, and also participate in various volunteer functions. Pinal Gem and Mineral ShowMSA is a founding Sponsor of Pinal Gem and Mineral Show. Each year in around month of March, MSA attends and participates in the Pinal Gem and Mineral Show. The Show is held at the Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum. This events features the Museum and also Gem and Mineral dealers. ESM Family Days Rock & Gem ShowThe Earth Science Museum (ESM) hosts the annual Family Days Rock & Gem Show in October. The show featured dealers selling minerals, fossils, rocks, gems, beads, jewelry, and tools. It also included several low cost children's activities. |
Flagg Gem and Mineral ShowThe first weekend of January each year the MSA participates in the annual Flagg Gem and Mineral Show. MSA has a booth and features a Micro-mineral educational section. The big favorite for the young show attendants is the MSA "Spinning Wheel". You win a prize with every spin! Minerals of Arizona SymposiumAround month of April the Flagg Mineral Foundation hosts the Minerals of Arizona Symposium and the MSA is always supporting this event. This events features world class speakers and also has gem and mineral dealers attend. The event also hosts a dinner with a special speaker program. |
