MEETING will be both (In-Person and Zoom).

Our November 18th program will be presented by Mr. Michael Fleeman on “Fluorescence in Petrified Wood.”  Mike will talk about surprising discovery of fluorescence in petrified wood and plants that was discovered during MSA's June 10, 2021 event at his LGF Natural History Gallery in North Scottsdale! 

Mike has been an avid collector of fossils, meteorites, petrified wood, minerals and Roman Byzantine weapons & tools, and many primitive and prehistoric human tools and weapons for over 30 years amassing a collection with more than 10,000 pieces.  Mike is founder LGF Museum of Natural History and is dedicated to the driving force to bring a word-class International Museum of Natural History to Phoenix area.  He has lived in Arizona for 26+ years and is a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.  Michael received his BS in Biology from University of Michigan, is a member of the Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences, member of Arizona Mineral Minions and member of Mineralogical Society of Arizona.
